I'm Katie, the 5th generation on our small family farm, and I love food.  I grew up trampling plants in my mother's garden and eventually graduated to doing all the family gardening.  After time spent working and volunteering at vegetable farms in different states, I returned to Nebraska to start West End Farm.  I get to engage my love of food every day by growing, cooking, and taste-testing 42 different vegetables, melons, and herbs.  I'm passionate about sharing my love of food and farming with others, and I enjoy connecting with people over a great new recipe or the fantastic health benefits of fresh produce.
