Experience the best month of nebraska’s growing season!
Have you ever thought about joining a CSA but wondered if it would really fit your family's lifestyle?
Maybe you've admired the overflowing boxes of fresh vegetables, but worried about keeping up with all the produce. Maybe you're unsure what a CSA is really like, or you've been hesitant to commit to a full season before trying it.
If that sounds familiar, I have something new I'd love to invite you to.
For the first time, West End Farm is offering an August CSA Sampler—a four-week opportunity to experience our CSA during the most abundant month of the growing season. You'll receive the exact same weekly share as our full-season members, just for four weeks instead of twenty.
Think of it as a chance to experience CSA exactly as it was designed: fresh, seasonal vegetables harvested each week, along with recipes, storage tips, and a closer connection to your local farm.
what you’ll receive
Each week you'll receive:
A small CSA share with 5 freshly harvested vegetables (the same share our regular members receive)
Enough produce for 1–2 people who cook at home regularly, or a family that cooks a few nights each week
Access to our CSA swap box if there's something you'd rather exchange
A weekly email with recipes, storage tips, and updates from the farm
Our Veggie Storage Guide to help you keep your vegetables fresh and make the most of every share

Why August?
August is one of the most exciting times on the farm. Depending on the weather and what's ready for harvest, your shares may include summer favorites like tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, cucumbers, green beans, basil, melons, onions, garlic, and more. Every week is a little different—that's part of the fun of eating with the seasons.

Each sampler includes the same small CSA share our regular members receive: five seasonal vegetables each week.

However, August is one of the most abundant months of the season, and shares often include favorites like tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, potatoes, onions, basil, beans, melons, and more.

Only Five Memberships Available
This is the very first time we're offering an August CSA Sampler, so we're intentionally keeping it small. Only five memberships are available this year.
