I'm Katie Jantzen, the founder and farmer at West End Farm. West End Farm is a small, diversified family farm outside of Plymouth, NE. We raise vegetables, melons, herbs, berries, and honeybees.

I love food.  It started with growing up helping with the family garden.  After time spent working and volunteering at vegetable farms in different states, I returned to Nebraska to start West End Farm. Every day is an adventure on a farm, especially one in Nebraska with our challenging weather, and especially when raising 50+ different crops.

So far, this wild ride of farming has produced an abundance of fabulous food. I'm passionate about sharing my love of food and farming with others, and I enjoy connecting with people over a great new recipe or the fantastic health benefits of fresh produce. If you’d like a sneak peek into the farm, sign up for our email list below to get recipes, farm photos, and more. You can also read more about the farm in these news articles.
